one year of marriage- Jamaica

May 29th we will be celebrating our first year of marriage!  I haven't the slightest clue what we will be doing, but it is something to get excited about!  Over the next few weeks leading up to the big day, I will be doing a few wedding related posts.

Early in the morning the day after the wedding we jumped on a plane and headed to Jamaica.  It was such a fun week and I want to go back so bad!  To help me through my need to get back I will be sharing a bit about our awesome resort- enter Couple's Negril:

This is an all inclusive resort, which we the couple who thinks the best way to vaca is to drop into a city and explore have decided that this is the best way to vacation!

This was our room ^  It was so great!  The perfect size and had everything we needed.  When we first arrived the mini bar was basically unstocked.  We were told to write what we wanted on the card and it would be filled the next morning (since we got there in the evening- but they also said that they would get it to us that night if requested).  The list to chose from included all liquors and all types of sweet goodies.  We asked for some rum, champagne, whiskey, oj, and pineapple juice.  We received full bar bottles with the pour tabs on them!  It was crazy!  (and don't forget- no charge)

We could also select to have a breakfast brought to us in our room at whatever time we designated (between 6am and 11 am!).  Again it was just a card to put on the door- and everything was taken care of!  We had fresh fruit, pastries, and juice each morning on our balcony- glorious!! (and one thing I miss the most... again this is all free)

We had a great view too!  Right below us was the garden, you all can see the ocean out there, and that area separated by the tall shrubs- that's the nude beach.  Our entire beach was top optional (there are no kids allowed here, must be 21).  We never ventured to the nude beach.  too much for me.  This was our view as he had that wonderful breakfast!

And lastly, a couple of shots of the sunset from our room.  We loved it.  It was a perfect place to call home our first week of marriage....
