hooked on phonics did not work for me...

a friend of mine asked me the other day why I was "Whity Wife".  The issue is simply, hooked on phonics did not work for me.   I was using a pun from our last name (thus the Whit) SO I was thinking Witty, but was going for a spelling with our last name.  Thanks dear friend for pointing out my language learning disability I do appreciate it.  *At least I was able to see for myself that WhitE would have just been white instead of Whit with the initial of E.  Hahaha!!!
